   Other Animals

While I have seen all the cute pictures of chinnies and dogs, or cats, I do not recommended putting your chins in an environment where these animals could pester them or possible eat them. Felines and Canines are both natural predators of chins in the wild and great precaution should be taken if the animals are going to be living together in the same house.

Another bad idea is to store your chin with another small animal. Not only do they carry a vast amount of illnesses that could be exchanged, both animals could end up with serious injuries. The kick from a rabbits hind leg is enough to snap a chins neck, and a chinchilla could easily kill a hamster, gerbil or guinea pig.

I can not stress the importance of keeping animals separated for the safety of all.
